• Essential Soil Science, M. R. Ashman and G. Puri. ISBN 978-0632048854.  Good mid level  book.  Worth buying.

• Soil Science Simplified, Neal .S. Eash, Cary J. Green, Aga Razvi, William F. Bennett, ISBN 978-081381823.   Decent introductory book.  Very basic. 

• Soil Science and Management, Edward J. Plaster, ISBN 978-1418038656. Great text book.  Definitely buy this one.
